I will be effective to Canada in February of 2008. I have several questions that I am needing answered. I will be moving from the US to Vancouver, BC....Thanks in advance!
1) Does your confidence in history follow you when you move to Canada?
I am a Canadian and I lived in the US for two years. I couldn't get a acclaim card there the first year because I didn't have a credit history in the U.S. So, my credit did not follow me from Canada. I would judge that it would be the same for you.

If it were me, I would go for one week, let your save stay for longer to be with his family alone, and come back to Dallas to work. Perhaps you can even pick up some extra hours over the holidays.

I grasp you want to make a good impression with your in-laws, but think about this a minute. They miss their son, and need to get to know you better. I'm sure they're aware of your financial situation if you are in college and only working part previously.
