Damn you OSAP!!!
&Nbsp; I chose my university and am going to McMaster for Linguistics! Yay! I get to teach english as a second language! So excited!! In my 3rd year I'm able to travel to another country and I hope I get to go to Japan as I'll be taking japanese in university and its where I really, really, REALLY want to teach english. So many possibilities, I'm so glad I took a year off of school to figure out what I want to do with my life, I hope it works out for me, really really hope . . . no honestly! You all have to cross your fingers for me!!!!!!!!! Anyhoo I had to apply for OSAP, 'cause honestly who besides really rich people are able to pay the whole thing off right away? If you know give me their number so I can beg money off of them! So I applied for OSAP and I'm able to find out the total sum of money I am allowed to borrow, HOWEVER, I have to send them back a form, WHICH, they have yet to send me!!!!!!!!! That is so not fair! Now I'm left to wonder if I can get any money at all! Don't they know how much anxiety they're causing?!?!?!? I have to take out a student loan anyway I guess I got into residence which is pretty much guarunteed for first year university students, and the only thing that freaks me out about university life is living with another person . . . I'm not good with people . . . I've never had to share a living space with another person and putting girls together is pretty chancy, they're bitchy, I guess I'll have to deal though, I'll try not to be there all of the time if it gets that bad. After that I'm off to my cottage. Ahhhhhh cottage!!! When we go up there one of these times I'm just not going to come back I love it there, its so beautiful. I don't think I've ever loved anything more than I love being there. I'll admitt, last time we left I cried because I had to go back to the real world . . . lame I know. I'm going to end up living in a place like that, so peaceful! Don't worry about OSAP. While I myself am fortunate enough to have parents who paid my way, pretty much all of my friends had some sort of financial assistance -- either through OSAP or bank loans. They've told me that as long as they were good with saving money -- setting a little bit aside every paycheck solely for OSAP payback, then really, there's not much more that you can do.
